Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens the Week on a Positive Note
The Casablanca Stock Exchange started trading this Monday with gains. Its main index, MASI, rose by 0.83%, reaching 15,644.48 points.
The MASI.20 index, which reflects the performance of the top 20 listed companies, also recorded a gain of 0.98% to settle at 1,270.24 points. Additionally, the MASI.ESG index, which tracks companies with the best ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, increased by 0.79% to 1,092.38 points.
Meanwhile, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, measuring the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, advanced by 0.45%, settling at 1,619.60 points.
It is worth noting that the MASI index closed last Friday’s session with a significant gain of 2.84%.
