Weather Forecast in English

The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, on Tuesday, relatively cold to cold weather conditions with frost or ice formation in the Atlas regions, the southeast, the Rif, the eastern highlands, the phosphate plateaus, and Oulmès. The sky will be partly cloudy to occasionally overcast, particularly in the far northwest and the Rif.

Foggy patches are also expected, especially in the morning, over the northern and central plains, the Saïs, the phosphate plateaus, the eastern region, and the northern parts of the Saharan provinces.

Additionally, moderate to somewhat strong winds will blow locally in the eastern region and the eastern Mediterranean front. Localized sandstorms may also occur in the southern regions.

Minimum temperatures will range between -2 and 5 °C in the Atlas mountains, the southeast, and the eastern highlands, between 6 and 12 °C near the coasts and in areas like Tangier and the northern and central Atlantic plains, and between 7 and 14 °C in the southern regions.

During the day, temperatures are expected to rise overall.

Finally, the sea will be slight to moderate in the Mediterranean and the Strait, moderate to rough between Tangier and Ras Hadid, and slight to moderate along the other coasts.
