Anas Zniti’s Potential Departure Shocks Raja Casablanca

Raja Club Athletic’s goalkeeper, Anas Zniti, has surprised the club’s management by requesting the termination of his contract during the current winter transfer window. This move stems from unpaid financial dues estimated at approximately 4 million Moroccan dirhams.

The club’s management, led by Adil Hala, is making significant efforts to persuade Zniti to reconsider his decision, given his crucial role as a key player in the team.

Zniti recently missed several matches due to an injury sustained against Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League. However, he returned to action in the « Clasico » against FAR Rabat, which ended in a 1-1 draw during the competition’s fifth round.

Notably, Zniti joined Raja in 2015 from FAR Rabat and has played a pivotal role in securing numerous domestic and international titles with the « Green Eagles. »
