Celebration of the Amazigh New Year 2975 in Morocco

The Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, along with the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, organized a ceremony this Tuesday at the Mohammed V National Theater in Rabat to mark the Amazigh New Year 2975, which is celebrated annually on January 14.

The event, chaired by Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch, included the signing of two agreements to further the implementation of Amazigh as an official language:

• The first framework agreement focuses on the governmental program for the institutionalization of the Amazigh language. It was signed between the Ministry of Digital Transition and several governmental institutions.
• The second agreement aims to enhance reception and guidance services in the Amazigh language.

The event featured performances by various artistic groups, showcasing Amazigh music and dance from different regions of the country.
