Warm Winter’ Campaign: 163 Homeless People Supported in Meknes
The « Warm Winter » campaign, recently launched by the National Mutual Aid, has assisted 163 homeless people in Meknes, according to data from the regional delegation of the organization.
The teams mobilized in the city worked tirelessly to support homeless individuals, shielding them from the harsh winter conditions.
The delegation clarified that its social assistance team collaborates with regional and local authorities, civil society organizations, and security services to identify and assist homeless people during this cold season.
This operation offers beneficiaries a range of social services, including meals, healthcare, clothing, and shelter in social care institutions.
Yassine Afrani, the regional delegate of National Mutual Aid in Meknes, stated to the Maghreb Arab Press Agency that all human and logistical resources have been mobilized to ensure the success of this initiative.
In this regard, a mobile social assistance unit, fully equipped, has been made available to the deployed teams. The operation is carried out in partnership with the Social Assistance Center of the “Ibtissama” complex and the socio-educational complex “Dar Al-Massnin.”
