The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts snowfall this Friday over the peaks of the Middle Atlas Mountains, the eastern high plateaus, and the Rif Mountains.

Light to moderate rain showers are expected along the Mediterranean coasts, the Rif, Saïs, the Middle Atlas, and the eastern region. Additional light rain may fall over the Atlantic plains stretching north of El Jadida.

Winds will blow from the northeast at light to moderate strength in the eastern region, and from the southwest at light strength over the northern Atlantic plains. Overall, winds will generally be light to moderate from the north in the rest of the country.

Minimum temperatures will range between -8 and -3 degrees Celsius in the High and Middle Atlas Mountains, between -3 and 1 degree in the Rif, the eastern high plateaus, and southeastern slopes. They will be between 3 and 5 degrees in the northern Atlantic plains and between 6 and 11 degrees in the rest of the country.

During the day, temperatures are expected to rise slightly.

The sea will be slight to moderate in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, rough along the Atlantic coast, and locally slight to moderate between Tan-Tan and Cap Barbas.
