The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) announced yesterday, Wednesday, January 22, a new list of seven appointments to leadership positions within the decentralized security services. These appointments involve the cities of Ouarzazate, Casablanca, Tinghir, and Chefchaouen.

These new assignments, approved by the General Director of National Security, Abdellatif Hammouchi, include internal mobility among heads of judicial police teams in the security zones of Anfa, Sidi Bernoussi Zenata, and Moulay Rachid under the Casablanca Police Prefecture.

Additionally, these appointments involve placing police officials in charge of other public security and judicial police units. This includes appointing two police district heads in the cities of Chefchaouen and Tinghir and a head of the canine unit within the regional security services of Ouarzazate.

These changes are part of a continuous operational strategy aimed at enhancing the competence and performance of police human resources. The goal is to promote rotation in leadership roles while entrusting the management of police facilities to highly trained and qualified security personnel capable of implementing action plans to strengthen citizen security and protect their property.
