Agadir Police Arrests Six in Drug Trafficking Case

The judicial police in Agadir, working closely with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, arrested six individuals early on Friday, January 24. The detainees include two women and two repeat offenders, all suspected of involvement in drug possession and trafficking.

Two suspects were apprehended at the entrance of Agadir while traveling in a light vehicle. A detailed search led to the seizure of 105 kilograms of cannabis resin. Further investigations resulted in the arrest of four more individuals in the Tilila neighborhood of Tikouine. This group includes two women and two men with prior criminal records, suspected of being connected to this criminal activity. Authorities also confiscated a light vehicle and a sum of money believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking.

The suspects are currently in custody under judicial supervision as investigations continue to uncover potential connections and further criminal acts associated with this case.
