Massive Migrant Crackdown: U.S. Launches Historic Operation
The U.S. authorities have announced the arrest of 538 undocumented migrants and the deportation of hundreds in a large-scale operation. This action comes just days after President Donald Trump began his second term.
Caroline Lift, the president’s spokesperson, stated on the platform « X » on Thursday evening: “The Trump administration has arrested 538 undocumented criminal migrants.” She added that “hundreds have been deported on military planes.”
Ms. Lift confirmed that “the largest deportation operation in history is underway,” emphasizing that “promises made have been fulfilled.”
This operation is part of Trump’s strict immigration policy, a cornerstone of his electoral campaign. To support these measures, the president signed executive orders declaring a “national emergency” at the southern U.S. border. He also deployed additional forces to the region and reiterated his commitment to deporting “criminal aliens.”
