Jawad El Yamiq’s Absence Raises Concerns for Al Wahda

Moroccan international defender Jawad El Yamiq will miss his second consecutive match for Saudi Arabian club Al Wahda. Medical examinations confirmed he is not fit to play against Al Ittifaq in the 17th round of the Saudi Pro League, scheduled for Saturday.

Despite significant efforts from the club’s medical staff to rehabilitate the Moroccan defender, the injury he sustained during the match against Al Qadsiah in the 15th round remains unresolved. This has forced the coaching staff to exclude him once again from the squad list.

El Yamiq also missed his team’s impressive 4-1 victory against Al Hilal last Tuesday during the 16th round, with coach Abdullah Al Hafith stepping in as his replacement.

The injury raises questions about El Yamiq’s return to action as Al Wahda aims to sustain its positive run in the Saudi Pro League.
