Nationally Wanted Drug Dealer Arrested

The judicial police in Casablanca, in coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST), have arrested an individual known as « Al-Fatmi », who was the subject of numerous national arrest warrants for crimes including premeditated murder and illegal drug trafficking, specifically « bofa », cocaine, and psychotropic pills.

The 30-year-old suspect was apprehended in El Jadida during a high-level security operation, based on precise intelligence provided by the DGST regarding his hideout.

Initial investigations indicate that the suspect was actively trafficking drugs in Khiyata, near Berrechid, and was wanted under 49 national arrest warrants, including 46 issued by the Royal Gendarmerie and 3 by the judicial police in Rahma (Casablanca) and Settat.

Additionally, he was also wanted in connection with a premeditated murder case, committed between January 11 and 12, following a dispute related to drug trafficking.

The search operation led to the seizure of large sums of money, suspected to be profits from criminal activities.

Under the prosecutor’s instructions, the suspect was placed in police custody to continue the investigation, identify accomplices, and track down drug-related proceeds.
