Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens Higher on Friday
The Casablanca Stock Exchange started trading positively this Friday, with its main index, MASI, rising by 0.5% to settle at 16,426.61 points.
The MASI.20 index, which tracks the performance of the top 20 listed companies, increased by 0.56% to 1,333.57 points. Meanwhile, the MASI.ESG index, reflecting companies with the best ESG ratings, grew by 0.71% to 1,160.98 points.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which monitors the performance of small and mid-sized companies, also gained 0.49%, reaching 1,716.36 points.

The strongest increases were recorded by:
- Casablanca Public Works Company (+4.84% / 573.9 MAD)
- Maroc Telecom (+2.54% / 109 MAD)
- IB Maroc.com (+2.29% / 34.78 MAD)
- Compagnie Minière Imiter (+2.22% / 2,390 MAD)
- Sonasid (+1.91% / 1,172 MAD)
Top Losers
On the other hand, the biggest declines were seen in:
- Carti Saada (-3.93% / 33.51 MAD)
- AtlantaSanad (-2.86% / 154.35 MAD)
- Afric Industries (-1.93% / 303.05 MAD)
- Colorado (-0.82% / 60.5 MAD)
- Résidences Dar Saada (-0.69% / 115.5 MAD)
For reference, the MASI index closed Thursday’s session with a 1.48% increase.
