Google officially launches « Gemini 2.0 Flash » AI model

Google has officially introduced its latest artificial intelligence model, « Gemini 2.0 Flash », which is the fastest AI model the company has released so far. This model is now available for free through the Gemini app, used by millions of people worldwide.

The new model prioritizes speed, delivering instant responses. However, this comes at the cost of reduced depth and accuracy compared to models designed for complex reasoning and in-depth analysis. Still, it represents a significant improvement over the previous version.

The model is now accessible within the app, while the earlier versions, « Gemini 1.5 Flash » and « Gemini 1.5 Pro », will remain available for a few more weeks. However, Google has not provided an exact timeline for their removal.
