Weather Forecast for Monday

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts relatively cold to locally cold weather for Monday, with localized frost, especially in the morning and at night over the Atlas Mountains and their surrounding regions, the Rif, and the high eastern plateaus.

Thunderstorms are expected over the Mediterranean coastline, the Rif, Saïs, northern Oriental region, Loukkos, and the Middle Atlas. Additionally, light and scattered rain will affect the Atlantic plains north of Safi, the southern Oriental region, and the High Atlas Mountains.

Snowfall is expected over the High and Middle Atlas Mountains, the Rif, and the high eastern plateaus.

Moderately strong winds will blow over the central and southern coasts, the southeastern part of the country, the High and Middle Atlas Mountains, the Rif, and Saïs. Localized sandstorms will also affect the southern regions of the Kingdom.

Minimum temperatures will range between -6°C and -3°C in the Atlas Mountains, between 7°C and 14°C in coastal areas, Souss, and the southern provinces, and between 1°C and 7°C in the rest of the country.

Maximum temperatures will see a slight increase or remain generally unchanged.

Regarding sea conditions, the Mediterranean and Strait of Gibraltar will be slightly to moderately rough, while the waters between Cape Spartel and Tarfaya will be rough to very rough, with generally rough conditions along the remaining coasts.
