Adam Aznou signs with Real Valladolid

On Monday evening, Real Valladolid officially announced the signing of young Moroccan international Adam Aznou from Bayern Munich on a permanent transfer.

In an official statement, the Spanish club said: « Real Valladolid strengthens its defensive line with the arrival of Adam Aznou Ben Cheikh (18), after reaching an agreement with Bayern Munich for his transfer. »

Born in Barcelona, Aznou was trained at La Masia academy, where he was considered a promising talent. He will now join Real Valladolid’s defense under coach Diego Cocca until the end of the season.

Aznou, a left-back, previously played for Damm and Barcelona before moving to Bayern Munich in 2022. This season, he made his professional debut, featuring in two Bundesliga matches and one Champions League game.

Additionally, he was recently called up by the Moroccan national team and participated in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, reaffirming his commitment to representing the Atlas Lions.

Real Valladolid will officially present Adam Aznou next Wednesday, alongside Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo.
