Casablanca Stock Exchange Starts Trading on a Positive Note

The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened trading this Tuesday with a positive performance. Its main index, the MASI, rose by 0.04%, reaching 16,215.45 points.

The MASI.20 index, which reflects the performance of the top 20 listed companies, increased slightly by 0.05% to settle at 1,314.08 points. Meanwhile, the MASI.ESG index, which includes companies with the best ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) ratings, declined by 0.02%, standing at 1,140.51 points.

Similarly, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which tracks the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises, saw a 0.41% increase, reaching 1,703.61 points.

It is worth noting that the MASI index had ended Monday’s trading session with a 0.24% loss.
