375 kg of Hashish Seized in Nador: Three Suspects Arrested
The regional judicial police in Nador, in coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST), arrested three individuals this Wednesday morning, aged between 41 and 57, on suspicion of involvement in international drug and psychotropic substance trafficking.
According to a security source, the suspects were caught red-handed at the Beni Ansar fishing port while preparing to carry out a drug trafficking operation. The search resulted in the seizure of 20 plastic containers holding a total of 375 kg of hashish (chira).
Additionally, authorities confiscated three fishing boats, a light vehicle, and a utility vehicle, which the suspects allegedly used to facilitate their criminal activities.
The arrested individuals have been placed under judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to determine all the criminal acts attributed to them and to identify any potential national or international links to this criminal network.
