In a media interview, Longoria stated that Benatia is a valuable addition to the club, commending his exceptional efforts in developing OM’s sporting project.

The former Moroccan international joined Marseille’s sporting management after serving as the president’s advisor last season. Under his leadership, the club secured key signings, including the loan acquisition of Algerian midfielder Ismaël Bennacer from AC Milan.
