Availability and Quality of Eggs Ensured During Ramadan

The National Association of Egg Producers has announced its full readiness to meet the increasing demand for eggs during the holy month of Ramadan. The association assures that the available quantities will be sufficient to cover the national market’s needs.

In an official statement addressed to all its members, the association urged producers to adhere to the guideline of selling eggs only after 10 AM, ensuring that consumers receive fresh and high-quality products.

This directive is part of a series of precautionary measures aimed at maintaining product quality and preventing any market disruptions.

Furthermore, the association emphasized the importance of continuous coordination between producers and traders, especially in major cities like Casablanca, to ensure a steady and adequate supply of eggs throughout Ramadan, anticipating the expected rise in consumption.

In this context, Khalid Azzaim, President of the Association, stated: « We are committed to ensuring stable supply during Ramadan and making sure that all essential goods are available in local markets with the highest quality and the lowest possible cost to meet citizens’ needs during this blessed month. »
