Casablanca Stock Exchange Starts the Week on a Positive Note

The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened this Monday with a positive performance. Its main index, MASI, increased by 0.16%, reaching 16,352.45 points.

• MASI.20, tracking the 20 top-listed companies, rose by 0.14% to 1,320.57 points.
• MASI.ESG, the index of the best-rated ESG companies, advanced by 0.1%, reaching 1,146.21 points.
• MASI Mid and Small Cap, which monitors small and medium-sized enterprises, gained 0.66%, closing at 1,744.65 points.

The best-performing stocks included:

• Société des Boissons du Maroc: +5.51% (1,340 MAD)
• Risma: +2.95% (314 MAD)
• Société Maghrébine de Monétique: +2.53% (410 MAD)
• Lesieur Cristal: +1.79% (285 MAD)
• Wafa Assurance: +1.58% (4,500 MAD)

 Top Losers

On the other hand, some stocks experienced losses:

• M2M Group: -3.9% (517 MAD)
• Fenie Brossette: -2.18% (123.25 MAD)
• Maghreb Oxygène: -2% (538 MAD)
• Disway Technologies: -1.69% (296.5 MAD)
