Cold Weather with Morning Frost Expected

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts, this Monday, a relatively cold weather with localized frost forming during the morning and night over the Atlas Mountains and their surrounding regions, as well as in the Rif and the eastern high plateaus. Fog patches are expected overnight and early morning in the northern Oriental region, the Mediterranean coast, and the northern Atlantic plains.

Dense low clouds will cover the Mediterranean coastline and northern Rif, while local dust storms may occur in the south of the country.

The minimum temperatures will range between -4°C and 2°C in the High and Middle Atlas, between 2°C and 7°C in the southeastern slopes, western Atlas regions, Rif, eastern high plateaus, and Small Atlas, and between 8°C and 14°C elsewhere. Maximum temperatures will see slight changes.

Regarding the sea state, it will be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean, slightly rough to rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, rough to very rough between Cap Sim and Tarfaya, and rough along the rest of the coastline.
