Continuing its commitment to supporting and promoting contemporary art, the Attijariwafa Bank Foundation announces the launch of the second edition of its national visual arts competition.
This competition is open to artists and all visual arts enthusiasts, who can participate through the following link: https://www.attijariwafabank.com/fr. The deadline for submissions is March 15.
The bank stated in a press release that the « #ImagineYourCity » initiative is part of a series of projects aimed at highlighting young talent and fostering artistic expression on contemporary issues.
For this edition, participants are invited to submit artworks reflecting their vision of the environment at both local and international levels, focusing on issues such as climate change, water, and sustainable development.
The Attijariwafa Bank Foundation seeks to highlight the richness and dynamism of the Moroccan art scene by encouraging interactions between traditional artistic techniques and modern expressions, including photography, animation, video, and augmented reality.
A prestigious jury, including Abla Ababou (gallery owner and journalist), Mohamed Rachdi (artist and art critic), Zine El Abidine Lamine (painter), and Mehdi Agdira (corporate social responsibility manager at the bank), will select four winners. The winning artworks will be exhibited for two months at the Foundation’s « Actua » gallery.
Throughout the competition, the bank will share videos, interviews, and useful information through its digital platforms, supported by industry experts. The deadline for participation is March 15 at midnight.
