Morocco to Return to Legal Time (GMT) for Ramadan 2025

Morocco is set to revert to legal time (GMT) on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 3:00 AM, in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan. The clocks will be set back by 60 minutes, adopting Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
This measure is based on Decree No. 2.18.855 of October 26, 2018, and the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 3.17.23 of March 6, 2023. According to these regulations, Morocco traditionally adjusts its legal time during Ramadan by setting the clocks back one hour.
After the end of Ramadan, the country will resume its usual summer time (+GMT1).
