Morocco Reaffirms Its Commitment to the Palestinian Cause

During the 38th African Union Summit of Heads of State and Government, Morocco reaffirmed on Sunday its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
Morocco reiterated its steadfast stance in supporting the Palestinian people to reclaim their legitimate rights and establish an independent and sovereign state within the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the two-state solution.
The Kingdom welcomed the ceasefire agreement between Palestinian and Israeli factions, emphasizing the urgent need to protect civilians, including women and children, in accordance with international conventions.
Under the directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Morocco has dispatched humanitarian aid to Gaza, including 40 tons of essential medical supplies. The country also calls for opening border crossings to facilitate aid delivery to affected populations.
Recalling the royal message of November 26, 2024, Morocco urges all parties to return to negotiations as the only viable solution for lasting peace and stability in the Middle East.
