Snowfall Expected on Mountains Exceeding 1800 Meters

The General Directorate of Meteorology has reported that snowfall is expected on mountain areas exceeding 1,800 meters in several regions of the country.

According to an orange-level alert bulletin, snow accumulation will range from 15 to 30 centimeters in the regions of Béni Mellal, Azilal, Al Haouz, Ouarzazate, Midelt, and Tinghir. Meanwhile, Boulemane, Ifrane, and Khénifra will experience snow depths between 10 and 15 centimeters.

This weather event will begin on Tuesday, February 18, at 3:00 PM and will continue until Wednesday, February 19, at 6:00 AM.
