Government Council Meeting on Thursday

The Government Council, chaired by Aziz Akhannouch, is scheduled to convene on Thursday.

According to a government statement, the session will begin with a presentation by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests on food supply during Ramadan 1446-2025.

The Council will then examine a draft law amending legislation related to standardization, certification, and accreditation. It will also study a draft decree establishing the National Committee for the Management of Nuclear, Radiological, Biological, and Chemical Risks.

Additionally, the Council will discuss an agreement signed in New York on September 27, 2024, between Morocco and Austria regarding the transfer of convicted individuals, along with a draft law approving this agreement.

The session will conclude with the review of proposals for appointments to senior positions, in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.
