Bayern Munich (Germany), Benfica (Portugal), Feyenoord (Netherlands), and Club Brugge (Belgium) secured their spots in the Champions League Round of 16 on Tuesday, while Italian sides AC Milan and Atalanta were eliminated early.

Bayern Munich clinched a crucial draw against Celtic, Feyenoord capitalized on Milan’s numerical disadvantage, Club Brugge reaffirmed their superiority over Atalanta, and Benfica controlled an intense clash against Monaco.

After winning the first leg 2-1, Bayern secured qualification with a 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena. Celtic took the lead through Nicolas Gerit Kohen in the 63rd minute, but Canadian substitute Alphonso Davies equalized deep into stoppage time (90+4).

With a 3-2 aggregate score, Bayern advances to the knockout stage, marking their return to the latter rounds after last winning the competition in 2020 against Paris Saint-Germain.

In the next round, they are likely to face either Bayer Leverkusen or Atlético Madrid. The Bavarians also maintained their remarkable unbeaten home record in the Champions League, remaining undefeated in Munich since April 2021 (21 matches).
