Weather Forecast for Monday

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts relatively cold weather this Monday, with localized frost forming in the morning and night over the Atlas Mountains, their eastern slopes, the Rif, and the eastern high plateaus.

Fog patches are also expected in the morning and at night over the Atlantic plains, the eastern region, and the northwestern part of the southern provinces. Additionally, occasionally strong wind gusts, accompanied by dust dispersal, are anticipated in the southern parts of the Anti-Atlas and the southern provinces.

Minimum temperatures will range between -1 and 5°C in the High and Middle Atlas Mountains, the Rif, and the eastern high plateaus, between 11 and 17°C in the Souss region and the southern provinces, and between 6 and 11°C in the rest of the country.

Maximum temperatures will drop in the southeastern part of the country and the northeastern part of the southern provinces, while they will rise in other areas.

As for sea conditions, the Mediterranean will be calm to slightly rough, the Strait of Gibraltar and the area between Tarfaya and Laâyoune will be slightly rough to rough, and the rest of the coasts will experience rough to very rough seas.
