Weather Forecast for Tuesday

The General Directorate of Meteorology expects a relatively cold weather on Tuesday, with localized frost forming in the morning and at night over the mountainous regions, the Oriental, the southeast, and the high plateaus.

Low clouds will form in the morning and night over the northern and central plains, accompanied by fog or mist in some areas. Scattered rain is expected the following night over the north of the Oriental and the extreme northwest of the country.

Dense clouds will move in overnight across the Saïs, the Rif, the northern Middle Atlas, and the Mediterranean coast. Dust may be blown in the extreme south, while moderate to strong wind gusts will affect the Mediterranean coast and the south of the country.

Minimum temperatures will range between -4°C and 4°C in the Atlas, Rif, Oriental high plateaus, and the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, between 11°C and 17°C in the Souss region and southern provinces, and between 5°C and 10°C in the rest of the country.

Maximum temperatures will rise in the Oriental, the southeast, and the southern coasts.

As for the sea, it will be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean, slightly rough to rough in the Strait of Gibraltar and between Tarfaya and Laâyoune, and rough to very rough along the rest of the coastline.
