A man in his seventies lost his life last Wednesday after falling into a reservoir on a farm in Tafrata, located in the Al-Oulb Douar, under the jurisdiction of the Houara Oulad Rahou commune in the Guercif province.
According to local sources, the deceased, born in 1954 and originally from Al-Ayoun Sidi Mellouk, was working on the farm when he fell into the reservoir. He hit his head against a metal pipe, causing his immediate death.
Upon being notified, local authorities, the Royal Gendarmerie, and Civil Protection units rushed to the scene. The victim’s body was transferred to the morgue, and an investigation was launched under the supervision of the competent public prosecution.
