Atlético Madrid Snatches Dramatic Draw Against Barcelona

Atlético Madrid secured a thrilling 4-4 draw against FC Barcelona with a last-gasp goal by Norwegian substitute Alexander Sørloth in the third minute of stoppage time on Tuesday, during the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final.
Atlético took an early lead through Julian Alvarez (1′) and Antoine Griezmann (6′), but Barcelona responded quickly with goals from Pedri (19′), Pau Cubarsi (21′), and Iñigo Martínez (41′) in the first half. Substitute Robert Lewandowski added a fourth for the Catalans in the 74th minute, but Marcos Llorente (84′) pulled one back before Sørloth’s late equalizer (90+3′).
The second leg will be played at the Metropolitano Stadium on April 2, with both sides set to clash again in La Liga on March 16.
