A student tragically lost his life on Monday morning near Moulay Ismail High School in Meknes after being struck by a stray stone during an altercation.
According to local sources, the victim, son of a high-ranking security official and a police commissioner mother, was leaving Al-Khattatif sports field after a sports session when he found himself caught in a clash between teenagers throwing stones at each other.
The student was hit on the head and succumbed to his injuries, leaving his family, friends, and classmates in deep sorrow and shock.
It is worth noting that Moulay Ismail High School is one of the most prestigious schools in Meknes, known for its high academic standards and preparatory classes. However, despite being located in an upscale area, it has not been spared from school-related violence occurring around educational institutions.
