Casablanca Stock Exchange Starts Trading on a Positive Note

The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading this Thursday with an upward trend, as its main index, « MASI », rose by 0.71%, settling at 17,207.98 points.
The « MASI.20 » index, which tracks the performance of the top 20 listed companies, advanced by 0.86% to 1,401 points. Similarly, the MASI.ESG index, which includes companies with the best ESG ratings, increased by 0.6% to 1,201.29 points.
Meanwhile, the « MASI Mid and Small Cap » index, reflecting the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), recorded a 0.23% gain, reaching 1,787.21 points.
On Wednesday, the MASI index had already closed the session with a 0.88% increase.
