Weather Forecast for Saturday

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts a relatively cold to locally cold day this Saturday, with frost or ice in mountainous areas, the southeast, and the eastern high plateaus. Snowfall is expected over the Middle Atlas peaks, with light snowfall in other mountain ranges and the Rif.

Thunderstorms and rain showers are expected in the Mediterranean coast and the Oriental region, while the sky will be partly cloudy over the High and Middle Atlas.

Strong winds will blow over the Mediterranean coast, the Oriental region, the Anti-Atlas, and the southern coasts.

Maximum temperatures will range between -3°C and 2°C in the Atlas Mountains, 3°C and 8°C in the Oriental region, the southeast, and the Rif, and 7°C to 17°C along the Mediterranean coast, northern and central plains, Souss, the extreme southeast, and inland southern provinces. In the far south and near the southern coasts, temperatures will vary between 13°C and 17°C.

Minimum temperatures will drop slightly in the Oriental region, the southeast, and the extreme south.

Finally, the sea will be slightly to moderately rough in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, rough to very rough between Mehdia and Tarfaya, and slightly to moderately rough along the rest of the Atlantic coast.
