Casablanca Stock Exchange Starts the Week on a Positive Note

The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading this Monday on an upward trend. Its main index, MASI, rose by 0.49% to settle at 16,806.13 points.
Similarly, the MASI.20 index, which tracks the performance of the top 20 listed companies, increased by 0.53%, reaching 1,368.02 points. The MASI.ESG index, which includes companies with the highest ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) ratings, gained 0.36%, reaching 1,174.85 points.
Meanwhile, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, reflecting the performance of small and medium-sized companies listed on the exchange, grew by 0.39% to 1,730.49 points.
It is worth noting that the MASI index had closed last Friday’s session with a 1.2% decline.
