One of the injured victims of the horrific road accident that occurred on Sunday night near El Harach Beach, in the Trokout commune (Driouch province), has passed away from his injuries while receiving intensive care at Mohammed VI Regional Hospital in Ajdir.
The accident initially resulted in the immediate death of a young man from Beni Bouayach (Al Hoceima province), while seven others were injured, three of them critically. The tragic incident happened when a cyclist on an electric bike was struck by two cars, leading to the overturning of one of the vehicles.
This heartbreaking accident has caused grief among local residents, who are calling for stricter safety measures on coastal roads to ensure citizens’ protection.
