Arrest of a Suspect for Fatal Stabbing in Dakhla

The Anti-Gang Brigade, part of the regional judicial police service in Dakhla, has arrested a man in his twenties suspected of involvement in a case of grievous bodily harm with a bladed weapon leading to death.

According to a security official, the police services in Dakhla discovered, last Wednesday evening, the lifeless body of an 18-year-old young man at the emergency department, bearing fatal stab wounds. Swift investigations carried out by the Anti-Gang Brigade led to the identification and prompt arrest of the suspect shortly after committing the crime.

The same source stated that the suspect has been placed in police custody under the supervision of the public prosecutor at the Court of Appeal. Initial investigations revealed that the fatal attack resulted from a minor dispute between the two individuals.
