Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens on a Positive Note

The Casablanca Stock Exchange started its trading session on Monday with an upward trend. Its main index, MASI, increased by 0.2%, reaching 16,643.62 points.
The MASI.20 index, which reflects the performance of the 20 leading listed companies, advanced by 0.33%, settling at 1,349.77 points. Similarly, the MASI.ESG index, which tracks companies with the best ESG ratings, gained 0.25%, reaching 1,156.65 points.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap index, representing small and mid-sized listed companies, rose by 0.28% to 1,734.76 points.

The strongest performers of the session included:
- Maghreb Oxygène (+5.1% at 469.8 MAD)
- Cristal Lousieur (+5.08% at 279.5 MAD)
- Hightech Payment Systems (HPS) (+3.33% at 620 MAD)
- Med Paper (+2.89% at 22.43 MAD)
- Fenie Brossette (+2.02% at 210 MAD)
Top Losers
On the other hand, the biggest decliners were:
- Atlanta Sanad (-3.07% at 145.4 MAD)
- Jet Contractors (-3% at 2,521 MAD)
- Managem (-2.95% at 3,882 MAD)
- CMGP Group (-2.58% at 321.5 MAD)
- Compagnie Minière de Touissit (CMT) (-1.28% at 2,310 MAD)
Last Friday, the MASI index had closed with a 0.23% gain.
