Moroccan Athletes Shine at the 12th Edition of the Nad Al Sheba Tournament

Moroccan runners showcased their dominance in the 12th edition of the « Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament, » held under the theme « Limitless Capabilities. » The event featured over 4,300 participants from various nationalities and age groups.

In the 10 km race (men’s open category), Moroccan Yasser Chaachoui secured first place with a time of 27:21 minutes, surpassing fellow Moroccans Mohamed Ait Mamas and Ismaïl El Kharche.

In the Emirati nationals’ category, Abdelkarim Tiki Abdelrahman claimed victory with a time of 28:15 minutes.

For the women’s open category, Moroccan Rokia El Moukim took the lead with 34:37 minutes, while Rokia Al Mazrouei won the Emirati nationals’ category with 38:36 minutes.

In the 5 km race (men’s open category), Moroccan Amine Souida outpaced his competitors, finishing first with a time of 14:45 minutes. In the Emirati nationals’ category, Hamid Al Maala secured victory with a time of 15:41 minutes.

For the women, Polish runner Emilia Mangielinan led the open category with a time of 22:11 minutes, while Hessa Al Jasmi won the Emirati nationals’ category with 23:48 minutes.

In the 5 km seniors’ category, French runner Jean-Claude Haramboury claimed the men’s title with 16:58 minutes, while French athlete Latifa Al Saroukh won the women’s title with 25:33 minutes.

Tomorrow will mark the start of the Laser Run (shooting and running) competition at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex, a new addition to the event, which will continue for two days.
