Suspect Arrested Following a Robbery Under Threat in Tangier

On the evening of Monday, March 10, police officers from the Tangier Security Directorate arrested a suspect believed to be involved in a robbery under threat at a money transfer agency.

According to initial investigations, the suspect stole a sum of money from an agency in Tangier earlier that morning after threatening an employee with setting the place on fire using a flammable liquid.

Through thorough investigations, authorities successfully identified the suspect and apprehended him just hours after the crime. A search led to the recovery of the stolen money in his possession.

The suspect has been placed in police custody under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office as part of the ongoing judicial investigation, aiming to clarify all circumstances of the case and determine the full extent of the criminal acts attributed to him.
