The National Airports Office has announced the removal of double screening for international travelers upon departure and arrival, along with the introduction of automated gates at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca.

In a statement, the office explained that the double passport check after entry stamping has been eliminated. This measure, effective since the end of this week, was made possible through the installation of automated gates, ensuring faster and more secure border control.

This initiative aligns with the « Airports 2030 » strategy and is the result of close coordination between the General Directorate of National Security, the Directorate of Immigration and Border Control at the Ministry of the Interior, and the National Airports Office.

With this modernization, travelers will now enjoy a smoother border crossing, significantly reducing waiting times and enhancing the overall travel experience. This system will be gradually implemented in all airports across the country before the summer season, as soon as the necessary infrastructure is in place.

The National Airports Office aims to balance efficiency and security by adopting advanced technological solutions to keep up with the continuous growth of air traffic while ensuring optimal border control.
