Marc Casado sidelined for two months due to injury

FC Barcelona announced this Tuesday that midfielder Marc Casado has suffered a partial ligament tear in his knee. The injury occurred during the team’s recent match against Atlético Madrid and is expected to keep him out of action for about two months.
The 21-year-old has played 37 matches across all competitions this season for Barcelona, the current La Liga leaders with 60 points, level with Real Madrid but with one game in hand for the Catalans.
Casado was forced to leave the pitch in the 67th minute of the match, in which Barcelona made a dramatic comeback to secure a 4-2 victory in the top clash of La Liga’s 28th round.
Due to this injury, the young player has withdrawn from the Spanish national team squad preparing to face the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League quarter-finals.
