Morocco Strengthens its Electronic Warfare Capabilities

The Spanish newspaper La Razón reported last weekend that Morocco is continuing to enhance its military capabilities by preparing to deploy battalions specialized in electronic warfare systems in strategic areas near the occupied cities of Ceuta and Melilla.
According to La Razón, these units will be stationed in northern Morocco, specifically around the occupied cities and Al Hoceima, as part of efforts to strengthen the country’s defensive stance. The newspaper also noted that similar units had previously been deployed in the Sahara.
The report states that Morocco’s electronic warfare battalions are equipped with cutting-edge technologies designed for such operations, enabling the Royal Armed Forces to intercept and weaken the operational capabilities of any adversary on the battlefield.
