The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts light rain this Friday in Tangier, Loukkos, western Rif, and the Mediterranean coastline.
Local showers are expected in the High and Middle Atlas and northern Oriental region, with snowfall in the Rif and the peaks of the Middle Atlas.
Moderately strong winds will affect the Rif, Tangier, and the western Mediterranean coast.
Minimum temperatures will range between -3°C and 4°C in the High Atlas, 4°C and 9°C in the Rif, the Atlas mountains, and the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, and 15°C to 20°C in the far south and coastal areas. In other regions, temperatures will be between 9°C and 15°C.
Daytime temperatures will generally decrease.
Regarding sea conditions, the sea will be slightly to moderately rough in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, rough to very rough between Cap Spartel and Tan-Tan, as well as south of Dakhla, and slightly to moderately rough along the rest of the coast.
