Royal Appointments to Strengthen Constitutional Institutions

On Monday, March 24, 2025, His Majesty King Mohammed VI appointed new officials to lead key constitutional institutions:

Abdelkader Amara as President of the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council.

Mohamed Benalilou as President of the National Authority for Integrity, Prevention, and the Fight Against Corruption.

Hassan Tarek as Ombudsman of the Kingdom.
These appointments reflect the King’s commitment to enhancing these institutions’ roles in upholding good governance, participatory democracy, and the protection of rights and freedoms, in line with the Moroccan Constitution.
They also underscore His Majesty’s dedication to ensuring these independent bodies contribute effectively to the country’s ongoing reforms and major development projects.
