Weather Forecast for Thursday

The General Directorate of Meteorology expects low clouds and fog to form in the morning over the Oriental region and the Mediterranean coast.

The sky will be partly cloudy to overcast in the northern and central plains, the Phosphate Plateaus, and the Atlas region.

Scattered showers or light rain are expected overnight in Tangier, the western Mediterranean coast, the Rif, Chiadma, and Souss.

Localized dust storms may occur in the southern provinces, the central regions, the southeast, and the Oriental region.

Moderate to strong wind gusts are expected in the central plains, Souss, the northern Saharan provinces, the Small and High Atlas, the southeast, and the southern Oriental region.

Minimum temperatures will range between 2°C and 8°C in the Atlas Mountains and between 8°C and 14°C elsewhere. Daytime temperatures are expected to rise.

At sea, conditions will be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, while the waters between Tangier and Tan-Tan will be rough to very rough. South of Tan-Tan, the sea will be slightly to moderately rough.
