Weather Forecast: Rain, Wind, and Dust in Several Regions

The General Directorate of Meteorology expects scattered showers this Friday in areas including Tangier, Loukkos, the Rif, the Atlas Mountains, Saïss, and the inland parts of Gharb, Chaouia, and Doukkala.

Skies will be partly cloudy with light rain expected locally along the Atlantic coast north of Safi, the Souss region, and the Mediterranean coast west of Al Hoceima. Dust particles may be dispersed over central, southeastern, and southern Oriental areas.

Moderately strong wind gusts are expected in the northern and central plains, Tangier, the Rif, Middle Atlas, southeastern regions, and southern Oriental.

Minimum temperatures will range from 0 to 6°C in the Atlas Mountains, 6 to 11°C in the east, the Rif, eastern slopes of the Atlas, and northern inland regions, and 12 to 17°C elsewhere.

Daytime temperatures will rise in the Mediterranean coast and southern areas, but decrease in the rest of the country.

At sea, conditions will vary from slight to moderate in the Mediterranean, rough to very rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, and rough to occasionally very rough along the Atlantic coast. Between Tarfaya and Laayoune, the sea will be locally slight to moderate.
