Casablanca Stock Exchange Closes Slightly Higher, Led by MASI Index

The Casablanca Stock Exchange wrapped up Wednesday’s session on a positive note, with its benchmark MASI index edging up by 0.11% to settle at 17,223.88 points.
The MASI.20 index, which tracks the performance of the 20 most liquid listed companies, rose by 0.17% to 1,400.68 points. Meanwhile, the MASI.ESG index, reflecting companies with high environmental, social, and governance (ESG) ratings, climbed 0.10% to 1,183.82 points.
On the downside, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index fell by 0.65% to 1,716.06 points, indicating weaker performance among smaller firms.
Internationally, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 index advanced by 0.21% to 16,590.52 points, while the FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid inched up by 0.04% to 14,836.80 points.
