Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens Higher

The Casablanca Stock Exchange kicked off Thursday’s trading session on a positive note, with its main indices posting gains. The benchmark “MASI” index rose by 0.38%, settling at 17,289.98 points, extending the modest gains recorded on Wednesday.

The “MASI.20” index, which tracks the top 20 listed companies, climbed 0.39% to 1,406.12 points. Similarly, the “MASI.ESG” index, focused on companies with top environmental, social, and governance (ESG) ratings, gained 0.39% to reach 1,188.43 points.

The “MASI Mid and Small Cap” index showed the strongest growth of the day, increasing by 0.57% to 1,725.88 points, reflecting strong investor interest in small and medium-sized businesses.
