Crans Montana Forum 2025 kicks off in Casablanca

The Crans Montana Forum 2025 opened this Friday in Casablanca under the theme: “International trade for Africa requires maritime safety and the security of ports and shipping routes.”

This high-level event is part of a series of summits scheduled in Morocco in 2025 and 2026, reflecting the country’s rapid progress in maritime transport and infrastructure.

Over two days, the forum gathers political leaders, diplomats, and maritime experts to discuss port security, digitalization, international cooperation, and the future of the Dakhla port.

Participants will also visit Casablanca Port and explore Morocco’s growing role in ensuring maritime stability and supporting South-South cooperation under the leadership of King Mohammed VI.
